The Candelas Social Committee is responsible for planning and executing a number of annual community events. These events are 100% resident planned and lead.
2024 Social Committee Upcoming Events:
Music in the Park at Maverick Mesa will be held Thursday June 27th.
Food Truck Fridays continue to be popular.
4th of July Parade with Arvada Fire at Church's Crossing. There will be lawn games and the fire department will dose the kids with the hose after a short parade.

Expectations and Duties of Committee Members:
One resident from each village and one “at-large” to act as Chair
Come up with exciting fun events to bring our community together
Bring monthly ideas to Communications Committee
Post social events on Facebook page(s) and email blasts
Assist in on-site execution of community events
